These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Kidory mobile application and website (kidory.ai), operated by Spring Digital Commerce ("we", "us", "our"). By using Kidory, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Kidory

Kidory is a parenting support app that provides AI-powered guidance, child development tracking, health logging, and family organization tools. Kidory is designed for parents and caregivers aged 16 and older.

2. Account registration

To use Kidory, you must create an account using Apple Sign-In or email. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You may enable biometric authentication (Face ID, fingerprint) for convenience.

You may invite other caregivers to join your family account. You are responsible for ensuring all users on your family account consent to these Terms.

3. Subscriptions and payments

Premium pricing:

  • Annual: €49.99/year
  • Monthly: €9.99/month

Free trial:

Premium includes a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically renew at the selected plan price.

Billing:

  • Payments are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's App Store or Google Play settings

Refunds:

Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about yourself and your family
  • Use Kidory only for its intended purpose as a parenting support tool
  • Not misuse, reverse engineer, or interfere with the app's functionality
  • Not upload illegal, harmful, or inappropriate content

5. AI-generated content

Kidory uses artificial intelligence to provide parenting advice, activity suggestions, health pattern insights, and journal sentiment analysis. This content is generated by AI and is for informational purposes only.

Important:

  • AI advice is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or legal advice
  • Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content
  • Health pattern analysis and sentiment analysis are indicative, not diagnostic

6. Your content

You retain ownership of all content you create in Kidory, including journal entries, photos, videos, and chat messages. By using the app, you grant us a limited license to process this content solely to provide the Kidory service (including AI features).

We do not use your content for advertising or sell it to third parties.

7. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your data. Our Cookie Policy explains how we use cookies on our website.

8. Intellectual property

Kidory, including its design, code, AI models, and content, is owned by Spring Digital Commerce. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on Kidory without our written permission.

9. Account deletion

You may delete your account at any time via Settings in the app. Upon deletion, all personal data associated with your account will be permanently removed within 30 days, as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Limitation of liability

Kidory is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any decisions made based on AI-generated advice
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Kidory in the 12 months preceding the claim

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may stop using Kidory at any time by deleting your account.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email. Continued use of Kidory after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the Netherlands.
