Kidory ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Spring Digital Commerce. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data when you use the Kidory mobile app and website (kidory.ai).

Kidory is designed for parents and caregivers. The app is not intended for use by children.

1. Data we collect

Account information

  • Email address
  • Name (first and last, via Apple Sign-In or manual entry)
  • Parenting style preference
  • Timezone

Child profiles

  • Name
  • Date of birth
  • Gender
  • Profile picture (optional, stored in encrypted cloud storage)
  • Temperament

Health and development data

  • Growth measurements (weight, height, head circumference)
  • Sleep logs (start time, end time, duration, quality)
  • Feeding logs (type, amount, duration)
  • Mood logs
  • Temperature readings
  • Medication logs (name, dosage, reason)
  • Milestone tracking

Caregiver wellbeing

  • Mood, stress level, energy level, sleep quality
  • Partner mood and notes
  • Gratitude notes

Content you create

  • Journal entries
  • Chat conversations with AI specialists
  • Activity logs
  • Tasks and goals
  • Photos and videos of your children

Technical data

  • Device type and operating system
  • Crash reports and error logs (via Sentry)
  • Anonymous usage analytics (via PostHog, EU instance)
  • Push notification token

Subscription data

Subscription status, plan type, and expiration date (managed via RevenueCat). We do not store payment details. Payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play.

  • To send you reminders, daily tips, and milestone alerts
  • To analyze health patterns and journal sentiment (optional AI features)
  • To manage your subscription
  • To improve app stability and performance
  • To improve the product experience through anonymous analytics

We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell your data to third parties.

3. AI data processing

Kidory uses AI services to provide personalized advice. When you use the AI chat or related features, the following data may be shared with our AI providers:

  • Your child's name, age, and gender
  • Recent growth measurements
  • Active goals
  • Recent journal entries (limited, truncated)
  • Your chat messages and conversation history
  • Health logs (for pattern analysis)

AI providers we use: OpenRouter (routing to OpenAI and other models) and Google Gemini (via API gateway, for sentiment and health analysis).

This data is sent securely via encrypted connections and processed solely to generate responses. Your data is not used to train AI models. AI-generated advice is not a substitute for professional medical advice.

4. Third-party services

  • Supabase – Authentication, database, and file storage. All app data is encrypted.
  • RevenueCat – Subscription management. Receives user ID and subscription status.
  • Sentry – Crash reporting. Receives anonymized user ID and error context.
  • PostHog – Product analytics (EU instance). Receives anonymous usage events.
  • Expo – Push notifications. Receives push token.
  • OpenRouter / OpenAI – AI chat responses. Receives family context and messages.
  • Google Gemini – Sentiment and health analysis. Receives journal entries and health logs.
  • Apple Sign-In – Authentication. Receives email and name (optional).

5. Data storage and security

  • All data is stored in Supabase with encryption at rest and in transit
  • Database access is protected by Row Level Security (RLS), scoped to your family
  • Authentication tokens are stored in secure device storage (Keychain on iOS)
  • Photos and media are stored in encrypted cloud storage
  • We use HTTPS for all data transfers

6. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we will delete all personal data associated with your account within 30 days, including:

  • Your profile and family data
  • All child profiles and related health, growth, and activity data
  • Journal entries and chat conversations
  • Photos and videos
  • Wellbeing logs

Anonymous, aggregated analytics data may be retained.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your account and all associated data (via Settings in the app)
  • Export your data upon request
  • Withdraw consent for optional data processing at any time

8. Children's privacy

Kidory is designed for use by adult parents and caregivers. We do not knowingly collect data directly from children under 16. All child data is entered and managed by the parent or caregiver. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data without parental consent, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
